The biggest cryptocurrency exchange in Canada, Coinsquare, have announced in a press release that they now plan on entering European markets by Q4 2018, meaning that come 2019, Coinsquare should be readily available across a number of European countries, opening up for the trade of Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, Dogecoin and Dash.
As an ultra-secure exchange, one that prides itself on its customer safety record, Coinsquare hopes to enter Europe as one of the most secure exchanges available, helping it retain the premier reputation it has built up in Canada.
According to Thomas Jankowski, the Chief Digital and Growth Officer and Coinsquare:
“Cryptocurrency investors globally want a platform they can trust. Coinsquare is a regulated, fully-compliant trading platform and we’re thrilled to offer the European market the same secure and intuitive interface that we offer to Canadians.”
Furthermore, the CEO of Coinsquare, Cole Diamond has added:
“Entering on a massive market like the EU is an exciting step closer to Coinsquare’s vision of becoming a global 21st century financial institution. Already the premier cryptocurrency exchange in Canada, we are careful in how we expand internationally to ensure we can offer the same high quality, secure service in every country we operate.”
Based in Toronto and founded in 2014, Coinsquare has been on top of the cryptocurrency game in Canada. From their conception, Coinsquare have offered a number of listings, all of which are tradeable with FIAT. A move into Europe will mark Coinsquare’s first efforts with regards to international expansion and therefore, should all go well, we may even expect to see Coinsquare move into other territories across the world too, including a number of crypto hubs in Asia. A move into Europe is just a drop in the ocean for this exchanges plans.
This of course isn’t the only news resonating the Coinsquare camp at the moment, according to the press release:
“Coinsquare has made significant strides in growth, solidifying its position as a leader in the Canadian, and now global, cryptocurrency space. Recently, Coinsquare announced the launch of Coincapital, a new investment fund and portfolio manager that will offer a suite of investment products focused on emerging technologies including blockchain, artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrencies. Other announcements include the launch of Coinsquare Licensing, a division built to power cryptocurrency trading solutions globally using Coinsquare’s technology, and the addition of the highly anticipated XRP (Ripple) token to Coinsquare’s listings.”
The future is bright for Coinsquare, an exchange that is about to open up to a huge, new and versatile customer base, one that deserves the expertise of Coinsquare and a customer base that Coinsquare’s flawless security will hopefully go on to protect.
